Method of Payment




Overview

CASH - U.S. Currency

CHECKS – Personal checks, cashiers checks, money orders, and Travelers Checks made payable to SMCC only and for the correct amount for tuition and fees. Overpayments are subject to the refund process.

CREDIT CARDS – Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express

THIRD PARTY BILLING – For use by Organizations and Agencies that have made arrangements with the District Office for billing. The required "letter of intent" may be brought, mailed or faxed to the College Business Services Cashier Office and must contain the students name, student ID number, and the dollar amount to be paid.

OUT OF COUNTY AFFADIVITS – For qualifying students, the required paperwork may be brought or mailed to the College Business Services Cashier Office, but are only credited to the students account after the student’s portion is paid.

EMPLOYEE TUITION WAIVERS – Waivers apply to tuition for credit classes only and all fees are the responsibility of the employee. Waivers are only credited to the students account after the fee portion is paid.

OTHER – Financial Aid / Scholarship students, Music Majors, and Veterans need to contact those offices directly.

When and Where to Make Payments

WHEN ARE PAYMENTS DUE?

Payments are due at the time of registration. However, participation in early registration will defer your due date as specified in the class schedule.

Payments must be received in the Cashiers’ Office on or before the due date or by E-Cashier. If you are mailing your payment, please allow sufficient time for the payment to be received and posted to your account.

For Registration     select 1

For Payment          select 3
For instructions      select 5

Listen and follow the directions given to you.

Set your PIN number - listen carefully to the instructions

Default is your month/day of birth and then you must select a new number. To have your PIN number reset if you are having trouble, call the Registration and Records office at 602.243.8123.
