Improving your study skills can help you do better in school, even accomplish more in less time. The Library and the Learning Center have compiled an outstanding collection of books and videos on study skills and success in college. These materials are available for check out. They can be found using the online catalog, browsing the shelves or using our web list to help you locate our favorites.
Additional resources can be found in both the circulating and reference collections of the Library. Some of these materials are located in the L call number section. If you need help the Librarian, LRC or LAC Staff will assist you in finding study skills videos and study skills books at SMCC.

Help with study skills is available in the Learning Assistance Center located in the Student Services Building, SS-100. If you would like individual help appointments are available with Learning Center Staff. If you need to call you can reach us at (602) 243-8189. The Learning Center also has study rooms and a study cafe (The Cyber Café) available for student use.
