Career Planning Program
The first step in the career development process is self-assessment. Self-assessment can be done online utilizing the DISCOVER program.
With DISCOVER you can:
- Start planning your future
- Learn more about yourself
- Explore occupations
- Select a career direction and identify a college major
- and more...
Steps to Using DISCOVER:
- Obtain a User ID from the Career Services Center.
- Log on to Discover and enter your User ID and password.
- Select the "Inventories" tab and complete the Interest, Abilities and Values Inventory.
- The "Inventories Summary" lists suggested career areas.
- Gather information about work tasks, related occupations, training, salary and more.
