Individual Appointments-

We can help you with your career search or college placement processes in a one-on-one setting. Use some of our office resources available in the Center (see below) and schedule an appointment to 'fine tune' your future.

Computer Resources-

DISCOVER-A comprehensive Internet-based resource that will help you with career planning. With this program you can: Learn about Self and Career, Choose Occupations, Plan Your Education, and Plan For Work. Whether you want immediate up-to-date information or help with creating a complete career plan, DISCOVER will meet your needs.

Before logging on to the DISCOVER program, obtain a User ID from the Career Services Center or call our office at 602.243.8154.

THE MARICOPA CAREER NETWORK-A web-based program that receives over 100 new jobs a day throughout the valley. Work-study jobs on campus are also posted online. View jobs, research employers, post your resume, and apply for positions that match your skills and interests.

SMCC CAREER SERVICES WEB SITE-This web site will provide you with the information and over 200 links to the additional resources found in the World Wide Web. Updated and designed for ease of use, this site will serve as your portal to valuable state, national, and international information/resources.

Computer Stations-SMCC Career Services Department has four computers, with high-speed Internet access, for students and community members. Use them for the DISCOVER program, run employment searches, word processing, apply online, check e-mail, and utilize the SMCC Career Services web site.
