Preschool Curriculum

Overview

The preschool curriculum focuses on the whole child. We have a literature based curriculum utilizing a wide variety of big and small children's books. All subjects and basic skills are centered around literature and integrated throughout the curriculum. Many opportunities and experiences are given to children to read and write. The NAEYC –National Association for the Education of the Young Child, as well as the Arizona Early Childhood Standards, are incorporated into the preschool curriculum.

Play education is an integral part of the development of the young child. We use whole group, as well as small group activities and individualized instruction. A variety of learning centers are available each day to enhance language development, socialization skills and creativity. Outdoor and indoor activities are planned to develop fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills, independence and much more.
