I am one of the new early childhood teachers. I have taught preschool for the past 6 years in NAEYC accredited programs. Two years for the Maricopa District and four years in the private sector. I have many life experiences in education. I put together a community education program for a wildlife rescue group and taught classes for them ranging from preschool to senior centers and everything in between. For three years I taught quarterly classes for the City of Scottsdale’s leisure education department. I have 7 years experience teaching religious education for grades two thru junior high school.

I have been married for 26 years to my high school sweetheart, Mike. We have 2 teenagers, Angela and MAC. Angela is an ASU student and works in Bio-Genomics doing cancer research. MAC is exploring his options at one of the valley’s AAEC charter high schools.

I look forward to serving the families and children here at the Early Childhood Center.
