South Mountain Community College encourages students, staff and faculty to report all criminal activity and emergencies.
Emergencies
In an emergency situation requiring police, fire or medical assistance, 911 should be called first, and the campus safety and service office should be notified immediately thereafter.
Non-Emergencies
To report non-emergency criminal offenses occurring on campus, notify the Department of Public Safety office at 243-8100. Reports may be made in person at the safety and service office located in the Student Union Building.
Emergency Phones
To assist students, faculty, and staff we have four emergency phones located around campus:
- Business Building, east side
- Gym, front entrance
- Physical Science Building, near office entrance.
- Department of Public Safety, near office entrance
- Computer Commons
These phones ring directly into the Department of Public Safety office once the handset is lifted. No dialing is necessary.
