Phoenix Fire Department - Community Assistance Program
The Community Assistance Program is a group of dedicated, professionally trained adults who provide 24-hour on-scene crisis intervention and/or victims assistance services to the citizens of the Greater Phoenix area. The CAP units respond from fire stations throughout the greater Phoenix area, and work in partnership with the Phoenix Fire and Police Departments and social service agencies.
St. Vincent De Paul of Phoenix:
The Society of St. Vincent De Paul at 1075 W. Jackson has been serving homeless and economically disadvantaged populations since 1946. Through home visits, shelter, food assistance, employment services, thrift stores and outreach programs, St. Vincent de Paul provides compassion and support to individuals in need - regardless of race, origin, religion or gender. The André House:
- Located in the heart of the Capital Mall District at 213 South 11th Avenue, The Andre House assists hundreds of people each day. Since its founding in 1984, this ministry has inspired a number of services and programs. Because André House is interested in the well-being of the individual as well as the surrounding neighborhood, the range of services reflects this community-focused mission.
